SLB looks to expand

November 26, 2018 Off By Eric O'Brien

Last week, Saturday Light Brigade host and creator, Larry Berger, sent out the following message as the operation grows.

Thanks for being a part of The Saturday Light Brigade community. We’rewriting with hopes that you can help us by sharing the information below — or making a one-time special donation if you’re able — in support of a once-in-a-lifetime project for SLB!

You may have heard me mention that SLB will expand in 2019 to triple our space for live performances and youth programs. Before starting construction, we need to build a stand-alone studio costing $20,000. The Buhl Foundation and One Northside have agreed to match individual project donations on a dollar-for-dollar basis. This incredible generosity allows individual donors a chance to have a huge impact on  this once-in-a-lifetime expansion project!

You can learn more at tinyurl.com/slbyouthWe’d be grateful for your help in two ways:

  1. If in a position to do so, please consider a donation of any size at tinyurl.com/slbyouth. We’ve had contributions ranging from $5 to $1000 and every one is instantly doubled!

  2. Consider making a post on your social media platforms similar to this example:

Our friends at SLB Radio have been amplyifying local music and youth voice for over 40 years. You can help them expand in 2019 by making a donation via tinyurl.com/slbyouth as part of a once-in-a-lifetime campaign where every dollar donated is matched 100%. Please consider a donation if you can and help sprread the word by sharing this post.

Gratefully,

Larry Berger
