WESA (90.5) announced Friday that The Confluence will expand to a daily, one-hour news/discussion program beginning Monday, August 27. This move replaces the 9:00 a.m. repeat of Morning Edition. The Confluence will be a combination of long-form interview, local reporting and roundtable discussions according to General Manager John Sutton. Sutton also notes that Marketplace Tech will continue in the 9:00 hour as part of the change. Additionally, The Takeaway currently airing Monday through Thursday at Noon expands to Monday through Friday.
