WTAE-TV to switch weather guys around

Effective September 1, Brian Hutton, Jr. will be the weekday weather anchor on WTAE’s (4) Noon and 4 p.m. newscasts. hat will relocate Jeff Verzyla to the weekend evening newscasts.

According to news director Baylor Long, “Brian has been a steady voice for our viewers during severe weather, sharing critical updates with expertise and compassion. His commitment to delivering clear, impactful weather information through innovative forecasting has truly set him apart.”

Hutton joined WTAE in 2021 returning to Western Pennsylvania after working at stations in Kentucky, Mississippi, and North Carolina.
