Bowman to retire in April

KDKA Meteorologist Dennis Bowman has announced his retirement effective April 17. He has handled the weather duties – first on the weekends, then in the mornings – on KDKA for the last 10 years. Bowman also spent 16 years at WPXI-TV as the chief meteorologist. In addition to Pittsburgh, he has worked in 5 other markets over a 43 year span.
Always fondly remembered as \\\”the goof on the roof\\\” and having to wear a leg strap to make sure he didn\\\’t blow off the roof in a strong wind!
