WPXI (11) has finally hired Stephanie Allison as the station’s fourth full-time broadcast meteorologist filling the void Danielle Dozier left last year. Allison has been a freelancer at WPXI since 2017 and now she will be full time. She will hold down the studio forecasts weekend evenings and Monday-Wednesday at Noon. She is a Cal. U. grad and a native of Washington County but has worked at WMDT on the Delmarva Peninsula, WJAC in Johnstown, and WTOV in Steubenville.

Additionally, the station has hired local native Lauren Talotta as a general assignment reporter. She will return home by month’s end from WCHS in Charleston, WV.

Meanwhile, WTAE (4) loses a general assignment reporter. Kylie Walker, who has been with the station for 3 years, will depart for Hearst sister station KOCO in Oklahoma City during the first days of July. This will allow her to be a little closer to her family in Dallas, TX.
