Chris Moore to retire
February 2, 2026Citing health and mobility issues, combined with winter weather, KDKA weekend host Chris Moore has announced his retirement from the station effective February 15.
In his announcement Sunday, Moore stated, “Having our meaningful discussions about world and local issues, as well as more mundane issues with you has been one of the highlights of my career.”
Moore, who has also worked as a producer and host for WQED-TV (13), has won many awards throughout his 50 years in the business and is currently working on a documentary for this alma mater, Grambling State University’s marching band.
