DVE announces new morning co-host
May 13, 2026Pittsburgh native Tad Wissel was named co-host of “Randy Baumann and the DVE Morning Show” Wednesday. Wissel, a content creator and once city firefighter has joined the show on a weekly basis since November when comedian Bill Crawford left the show after 13 years to focus on a stand-up comedy career.
Wissel is no stranger to WDVE (102.5). He was an intern there in 2008 while still in college at Edinboro. From 2010 to 2014, he was a promotions coordinator for sister station WBGG (970). He also spent a decade creating and producing content for SLB Radio Productions, the non-profit behind The Saturday Light Brigade on WRCT (88.3) and a network of public and online stations.
