File Under: “It’s About Time” – KDKA-FM comes clean about the morning show

June 7, 2023 Off By Eric O'Brien

Colin Dunlap and Chris Mack have been off the air at Audacy’s KDKA-FM (93.7 “The Fan) for several weeks without explanation creating a social media firestorm. Some of the “flames” appeared to be stirred – at least on Twitter – by Mark Madden who hosts afternoons on iHeart’s WXDX (105.9). Meanwhile Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley who previously had roles in the morning program, have been named hosts.

Meanwhile, Dunlap and Mack have moved into multimedia roles for all of the stations under Audacy’s Pittsburgh cluster and social media rumors saying a physical altercation occurred between the duo have been quashed. Dunlap came to “The Fan” as a part-timer when the station began in 2010 after years of writing at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Mack spent years as an on-air jock and was a talk host at WEAE (1250) prior to joining to 93.7.
