Fire discovered at top of WEDO tower

It was reported to PBRTV this evening that an explosion was heard and fire was seen at the top of the WEDO (810 McKeesport) tower (ASRN:1025884) in North Versailles. Little is known at this time, as to the cause or the severity of the situation. The tower along Foster Rd. is owned by Robert Stevens’ Broadcast Communications Inc. The tower has been home to WEDO since the station’s inception. It is now also home to KQV (1410), W227DB (93.3 McKeesport), and W231BM (94.1). More as we hear it.
