You know when you find something you didn’t know you were looking for? How about “Good Day Pittsburgh” from November 2, 1979? It aired at 9:30 a.m. on WPGH-TV (53) – then an Independent station.

Andrea Wood was hosting her last program before returning to WYTV-TV (33 Youngstown). She eventually became the publisher of The Business Journal.

Tom Peterson was the news man. He had worked previously at WYTV with Wood. Peterson eventually shared WPGH news duties with Ted Sohier and also served as the public affairs director. He took medical leave in 1989 and died in 1993.
