WTAE anchor loses son in accident
September 30, 2019WTAE-TV (4) anchor Mike Clark suffered a loss over the weekend after his son Matthew was killed during a hiking accident in Colorado. He was 26.
Matthew was hiking with friends about an hour West of Denver when he slipped and fell a great distance. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The 2012 Central Catholic grad and proud Ohio State Buckeye was following his dream for adventure and the outdoors having recently settled in Denver.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Mike and Terri, and his siblings, Michael, Anthony and Danielle.

Oh prayers for Mike. This happened to my cousin who also lost a son due to a hiking accident. No one should ever have to survive the death of their child.
