Lightner gets 4 Central PA stations

Lightner Communications has purchased four Altoona stations from three commonly-owned holding companies – Sounds Good Inc., Handsome Brothers Inc., and Sherlock Broadcasting Inc. In the purchase totalling $650,000, Lightner gets WWBXQ (94.3 Patton), WBRX (94.7 Cresson), WRTA (1240 Altoona and 98.5 FM), and WKMC (1370 Roaring Spring and 96.1 FM).
