Lightning strikes twice

The storms have been rolling into Pittsburgh with a vengeance lately and a couple of stations took a hit over the weekend.

WEDO (810 McKeesport) got zapped on Saturday and has been off the air since. It is anticipated to return by Tuesday at the earliest. Because FM translators aren’t to operate without their main signal for more than 24 hours, the 93.3 signal is also off the air.

WJAS (1320) also took a hit and engineers are on the case…
