Today we talked to Peggy Finnegan who recently retired from WPXI-TV (11) after 31 years as anchor next to David Johnson. We met up virtually via Zoom since social distancing is still a “thing” and… well.. Peggy is in a much warmer climate during this woop-de-doo of a winter we seem to be having here in Pittsburgh. Nice to hear, and that card with favorite things then and now was great. We did something like that at my elementary school, each student listing our favorite TV shows and foods, then did the same list a year later to see what changed, so that was fun with Peggy.
To listen, I ran it on my little radio station that operates under Part-15, and that might have been the first time Bill Korch’s voice has been on my airwaves too, one of the most heard voices on AM radio on the smaller stations I’d think.
