The perils of having more than one blog
July 13, 2026Dear readers:
A post about the Columbus trip my wife and I just took somehow landed on this blog rather than the one intended for my more “inner circle” of friends. There was nothing terribly revealing about anyone, but you probably now know a little more about my past and present than you ever wanted to know. Or perhaps you did. Are you impressed?
Again, none of it was secret. It simply was not intended for an audience that comes here primarily for television and radio news. Surprisingly, I believe it received more comments within a 24-hour period than any PBRTV post in recent memory.
PBRTV is divided into four sections, three of which are publicly promoted in some way. The fourth is not, although it does not contain any deep, dark secrets either. Three of the four sections also have blogs. Apparently, I logged into one last night thinking I was logging into another and simply did not pay enough attention.
My reason for keeping everything separate is fairly simple. The main PBRTV blog — the one you are reading now — is devoted to radio and television. Another deals with my life with Parkinson’s disease and is public in the hope that something I write might help someone else. Then there is the “private, yet not particularly revealing” blog, along with a simple website — without a blog — for my award-dodging radio program, Smooth, Relaxing and Easy.
I apologize for posting it in the wrong place, but I sincerely appreciate all the comments!
E O’B
