August 31, 2026This morning Radio Insight reports the sale (again) of 92.1 FM in Ellwood City.
The station was recently sold by Forever Media, as WKPL, to Family Life Ministries who changed the callsign to WCGF-FM. The sale was final at the end of June for $350,000.
Since then FLM has made an additional agreement with Forever to pick up WOGI (104.3 Moon Township) and its FM translator – W288BO (105.5) for $1 Million. Since 104.3’s signal is stronger and significantly overlaps that of WCGF, FLM has opted to sell the signal to Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting – owners of WESA (90.5) and WYEP (91.3) for $375,000. The signal will be used to boost one of the two stations into the Ellwood City region.
