WAMO to get new GM

Laura Varner Norman was let go from her position as General Manager of WAMO (660 Wilkinsburg; translated via 100.1 Pittsburgh). According to the New Pittsburgh Courier, a reason for Norman’s ouster has not been released publicly by Martz. Meanwhile, the paper expects that a replacement has already been named. Gary Gunter, General Sales Manager at Radio One’s Baltimore cluster, is predicted to be the next general manager of WAMO.
