WJPA’s Jefferson dies
December 11, 2020PBRTV is hearing this morning that long time WJPA (95.3/1450 Washington) news man, Jim Jerfferson, has died. He retired as news direct from WJPA three years ago after 40 years at the station.
No word on the cause of death.
I was working part-time at WJPA when Jim started there. He was hired to do the 12 to 6 slot before moving into the news position He was a very kind gentleman. Condolences to his family!
