    WTAE followed this up by pre-empting regular programming for several days around Christmas and instead airing nostalgic old shows with clips of the station’s history. I sat inside and watched most of it. (Christmas ’83 came with a record-setting arctic blast. I had little choice. That’s why this sticks in my memory so well.)

    I remember when this aired. Did WTAE do anything like this for their 60th anniversary last year?
