Antkowiak to work for Catholic Diocese
October 3, 2019Former KDKA-TV anchor Jennifer Antkowiak will join the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese beginning November 1. Antkowiak’s role is as the face of community relations as the diocese works forward in the wake of the clergy sexual abuse situation with which is is plagued.
The position is newly created and Jennifer will oversee existing communications and work as a liason with parishioners and the general public.
The new post is underwritten by a new endowment established to strengthen diocesan presence communicating its core mission.
The Greensburg Catholic Diocese made a move last year in hiring former WTAE-TV reporter Jennifer Miele to a similar role.
