Bell back on TV

Wendy Bell is back on TV – national TV. The much ballyhooed conservative talk show host has a weekend gig on Newsmax Media

The program called “Wendy Bell Common Sense” airs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 3:30 p.m. on Sundays. Bell claims, “People are hungry for common sense in this country, and that’s what this new program is all about.”

Bell was an anchor at WTAE until she was fired in 2016 for some bold statements she made on a social media post in regard to a shooting in Wilkinsburg, not far from the station’s studios. KDKA-AM (1020) took a chance on hiring her in 2018 for afternoon drive, but that came to an end in late summer 2020 when another social media post did not go over well with the public. Then early last year, after a few months on WJAS (1320), Bell was let go again. Sources told PBRTV that she would not allow St. Barnabas Broadcasting to have control over her “brand.” A short time later, Rose Somma-Tennant was released from the station for similar reasons.

Bell has been doing radio from an undisclosed location in Pittsburgh and on the air on Lightner Communications stations and online.
