February 4, 2022 Off By Eric O'Brien

David Bloomquist, AKA “Bloomdaddy” announced his departure from iHeart owned WWVA (1170 Wheeling). The show has been carried in Pittsburgh – first via sister station WPGB (104.7) after the departure of Quinn and Rose in 2013. The next year he made the move with the majority of programming when WJAS (1320) switched after Pittsburgh Radio Partners bought the station from Renda Broadcasting.

According to our sources, Bloomdaddy announced that he will be on the air at Cleveland’s WTAM where he will be on in afternoon drive beginning Monday. WTAM is also owned by iHeartMedia.

No word what will be on the air at WWVA come Monday. But the 100-year-old WJAS will be airing “America in the Morning” between 6:00 and 9:00 with “First Light” between 7:00 and 8:00.
