WTYM to Lightner

An ad in today’s Kittanning Leader Times shows that Lightner Communications will be the new owner of WTYM (1380 Kittanning) and its FM translator at 103.7, pending FCC approval. The station is running an all Christmas format at the moment but the ad specifically asks the community to pick the type of music the station will play.

WTYM has been owned Family-Life Church for many years until their former lead pastor and area councilman, David Croyle, was found guilty on several charges related to unlawful contact with a minor earlier this year.
